Understanding the way to acquire a Steel Cover in Pokémon Legends: Z-A is important for completing your Pokémon Catalog, since a pair of specific creatures – Scyther and Rock Snake – require this item to transform into Pincer Pokémon and Steelix respectively. Additionally, both of these evolved forms feature mega types available in the game.
Players have pair of main ways to obtain a Metal Jacket in PLZA, both of which need significant story progress. The earliest gamers can obtain this evolution item is after they achieve Rank C in their journey.
Methods for Acquire Metal Coat in Pokémon Legends: Z-A
Gamers have two main methods to obtain a Metal Coat in Pokémon Legends: Z-A: undertaking certain optional tasks or acquiring it from Racine Construction building. Unfortunately, both methods become obtainable relatively late in the game.
Side Missions That Grant Metal Jackets
You can find couple of particular side missions that offer Steel Covers as compensation: Optional Task 101 ("Steadfast as Steel") and Sub-Quest 114 ("A Feather from Skarmory"). As mentioned previously, these tasks usually show up during the later stages phase. For instance, "Steadfast as Steel" appears around Main Mission 35, while "A Feather from Skarmory" appears after beating the central questline.
It's worth noting that the non-player character for "the Skarmory quest" often appears near the entrance to Wild Zone 17, though the character could change a bit according to your progress.
Where to Buy Metal Jacket in Pokémon Legends Z-A
After gamers have reached the story conclusion, they can buy a Metal Coat from a seller inside the construction company site. This is the exact building where gamers meet Canari for the Rank E promotion promotion match, located close to Lumiose Station and south of the Le Nah dining spot. Once unlocked, Racine Construction also functions as a teleportation destination.
Once available, a vendor at this location will provide a Steel Cover for $4,980. Fortunately, this shopkeeper offers infinite supply, so players can acquire as much Steel Covers as they desire, provided they can gather adequate funds.
In summary, if gamers haven't progressed adequately through the adventure, they cannot manage to obtain a Steel Cover at this time.
